Sky Ocean is a small, family-run beachfront hotel in Nosoko, northern Ishigaki. With just eight spacious rooms, it offers a relaxed, personal welcome and a chance to discover a quieter side of island life.

We live here, raise our family here and take an active part in our local community. Caring for this island is part of our everyday life, from working on our organic farm to helping protect the coastline. We enjoy sharing what we learn, introducing guests to the area and helping them connect with the nature and people that make Ishigaki special.

Life at the hotel is simple and unhurried. Spend time on the beach, cool off in the pool, or settle into the garden gazebo with a book. In the evening, soft pool lighting and the sea breeze create a peaceful setting to unwind. Whether you come as a couple, with family or with friends, we want you to feel comfortable being yourselves.

Each of our eight rooms offers more than 45 square meters of space. Four overlook the ocean, three face the mountains, and one combines mountain views with a traditional Japanese tatami setting.

Rooms accommodate up to five guests, including a maximum of four adults. Depending on the room, bedding includes two or three beds and a sofa bed. Every room also has a mini-fridge, an electric kettle and smartphone charging cables.
