Discover the beautiful reefs of northern Ishigaki aboard your own private boat. Stop at carefully selected locations to swim, snorkel, or simply relax while your skipper remains on board.

Aboard our brand-new ZODIAC Cadet RIB ALU DL (3.9 m, up to 5 guests), we offer private eco-charters to explore the crystal-clear waters and coral reefs of northern Ishigaki.

Powered by two REMIGO Neo fully electric outboards, the boat cruises quietly at around 10 km/h with zero direct emissions, offering one of the island's most environmentally friendly ways to discover its coastline and reefs.

  • 2-hour private charter: ¥25,000 (up to 3 guests)
    Additional time: ¥5,000 per 30 minutes
    4th guest: ¥5,000
    Maximum time: 4 hours.

  • Depart directly from Sky Ocean's beach.
    Explore the reefs within a 5 km radius of the hotel, with snorkeling stops possible as far as Yonehara Beach, depending on sea and weather conditions.
    Complimentary snorkel equipment is available for all Sky Ocean Hotel guests.
    Guests remain responsible for their own snorkeling activities.

420 MiniCat Catamaran tour

Duration: 1h~3h
Minimum age: 8 years old
Maximum participants: 2 people at a time (1 kid / 1 adult OK)
Location : Itona beach (in front of the hotel)
Booking : At least 2 days in advance, via email or during your stay 
Cancelation: Free up to 24h in advance. 50% otherwise

Weather conditions :
A minimum wind of 3 meter/second is necessary to operate the boat.
A maximum wind of 8 meter / second to sail in safe conditions.
Tour will be cancelled/postponed if wind conditions, even at the last minute if it does not allow proper sailing or for safety reasons

Sea Conditions : sailing is possible from mid tide to high tide. Schedule will be adjusted to the current tide

Possible activities: depending on sea and wind conditions, free snorkeling time, or landing on a hidden natural beach.

First hour: 15,000 YEN
Additional hour: 10,000 YEN
* Example for 4 guests: 1hour with 2 guests + 1 hour with 2 guests, for a total of 25,000 YEN.

While our guest can enjoy free Kayaking with our 2 free Kayaks, we also offer Kayak tours with guides. The Fukido river mangrove is one of the best Kayaking spot on the Island. Located 10~15 minutes away from the villa, it's the perfect Kayak experience for all our guests. ​ If you feel confident enough, you are can do this tour by yourself, but we often discourage it to avoid accidents.

Sea & Mangrove Kayak


Jungle Waterfall Trekking

Duration : half day or full day (with lunch) trekking.
Minimum age : 8 years old (for the easiest trek). 

Maximum participants : 6 adults and kids or 8 adults.

Trekking locations: Arakawa no Taki (waterfall), Yabiku no Taki (waterfall) and Nosoko Mape (mountain). Depending on your experience, the number and age of participants


Reservation: at least 1 day in advance, via email or after your arrival. 
Cancelation: free up to 24h in advance. 50% refund the day of the event.

Half Day Trek - Up to 5 guests : 20,000 YEN (1 guide)
Half Day Trek - Up to 8 adults or with kids : 30,000 YEN (2 guides. Mandatory for kids under 15)
Full Day Trek - Up to 5 guests : 30,000 YEN (1 guide) + 1000 YEN / person for lunch
Full Day Trek - Up to 8 adults : 50,000 YEN (2 guides)  + 1000 YEN / person for lunch
